Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

imageBentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes a flying "B" paperweight, keys, and an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

This is a great way to welcome a new car owner.

Aesthetics

As a design-centric company Bentley Key Fob Programming takes its aesthetics seriously. This is evident in the precise placement of its quilting and the use of leather that is made from products of cattle as well as the sustainable management of forests, and the ingenuous patterns of its levers. A car like the Continental GT W12 beckons as you approach it with its striking sculptural appeal and power through carefully planned lighting.

The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top vehicle. Its rear tonneau, as an example, showcased the largest piece of book-matched, dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to a production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley is the most sought-after brand in the automotive industry worldwide due to its bespoke design and craftsmanship. The company continues pushing boundaries with the latest technology and hand-crafted products. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear sunroof and a handcrafted Apple iPad docking station.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019 one hundred years after it was founded. The marque, which is owned by Volkswagen without a partner following years of tense relations with BMW, has planned a range of special launches and events to mark the occasion. The company planned a range of special events and launches to mark the occasion prior to when the pandemic was declared a priority.

Design

Bentley is a luxury car maker that produces extravagant and luxurious vehicles. But even the keys are a statement. The Bentayga Key is made of sterling silver and features an enormous B' logo to let everyone know that you're a Bentley. It's also engraved with the years 1919 and 2019 to mark the company's centenary.

bentley car key case Mulliner reinvented and designed the Mulsanne to become the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The rear seats are designed to provide passengers with unparalleled comfort and privacy. They were inspired by the luxury private aircraft. The custom heating and ventilation system as well as the air conditioning system was created to give each passenger the perfect climate control setting.

The Mulsanne comes with twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine that generates 560bhp and 479lb-ft torque. This amazing power is coupled by a brand new suspension system that offers Bentley's signature smooth ride.

bentley continental gt key has introduced a special specification for cars manufactured after 2019 to commemorate its centennial. This is called the Centenary Specification. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are stitched in Centenary Gold, adding to the feeling of celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a custom Bentley keycase, which completes the Bentley experience.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key has an opening button for the trunk, as well as a button that starts the car. The key also comes with a switch that allows you to turn on the parking brake. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parked in a tight space. This feature can assist you in getting into and out of your vehicle more easily.

Each key takes two days to create. The key is cut by hand, then shaped, stitched and sealed, then polished to give a superior result. It is durable small and compact, and it fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar with the Volkswagen Phaeton's huge car key, but it feels more heavy and luxurious.

Secure-A-Key is also included to help prevent keyless entry theft. This device is inserted into the remote control key fob and will shut it off after a few minutes of inactivity. This prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.

Bentley's unique design reflects the company's values that include fine craftsmanship engineering expertise and modern technology. The headquarters in Crewe are home to over four hundred employees who are responsible for the design, development and production of bentley key holder vehicles. They employ the skills passed through generations and apply them to the latest in automotive technology. This is British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own vehicle. The guests sit at a collection of images, referred to "mood stations" and pick a set of photos ranging from scenic views to sporting events that will inspire them. As each selection is made, a pattern emerges, which reveals the model and color preferences of the personalized Bentley.

The resulting configuration is saved to individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys, which are presented to guests in a custom key case. Keys can be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the path of the door opening with the owner's logo or name as they approach the car.

Bentley claims it takes about 500 man hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The key to this time-consuming effort is a deliberate decision to adopt the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers don't make use of a machine to create perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Drivers must park their vehicles manually, rather than relying on the built-in sensors to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spaces.

In the course of the event, Bentley presented its Mulliner personalization capabilities using one particular example of the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays tribute to the founder William Osler Bentley. The limited edition cars include a key that displays an original 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
