Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens permit you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar one and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require a higher level reroll token. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is to be rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones are also available to players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The
Upgrade item process is risk-free and will not impact the durability of the
item upgrades. It's an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are many ways to obtain them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The
upgrade item Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. The process will continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be added in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Once the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an
item upgrade will vary based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the level of the
item upgrader mod. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
