What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The upgrader for items adds a new widget to the top of the Angel and Cash Upgrade windows. This Manager is a cost of 33 billion Angel Investors, and has no other benefit to the game, aside from making it easier to purchase upgrades.
Boosters
There are a variety of enhancements that can be obtained with an upgrader. These could include stats as well as extra bonuses. These bonuses can be used on armor, weapons and trinkets. Some boosts are suitable for specific builds (such as Whistan's shield for FB sorcs) while others can provide an enormous amount of value to specific collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos, which is less beneficial when upgraded. For instance, the Goldwrap has an extra potion slot. They are usually upgraded to add value to a perfect or near-perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades come with some associated costs. The first is the cost for the upgrade. The cost is based on the new level of the item and the amount of perks it gains and is often expensive. It can also be costly to upgrade an item to a higher tier (such as Explorer > Champion or Veteran > Heroic).
The second is the price of the materials needed for an upgrade. The items used are typically either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and up) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). The quantity of these items required can be seen in the inventory of an upgrade vendor.
The process of upgrading an item is a complex process that takes time. Based on the magnitude of the upgrade, it could take as long as 8 hours. The base stats of an upgraded item are calculated based on the new ilvl and other properties. This calculation determines the latest Armor Class bonus, damage dice, and other important statistics. In some cases the upgrade will provide additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available advantages.
In rare cases, the upgrade will replace only the most expensive benefits. The upgrader may also make other modifications to the item, such as changing its weapon damage type or removing a operative or unwieldy feature. The cost for these modifications is determined by the item's current ilvl and it may require a specific material, such as the adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
Item upgrades are based on the chance of success, and as with any random system there is an opportunity that the upgrade won't succeed. However, there are a few factors which can improve the odds of success. This includes using an item known as an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of additional materials to the upgrade.
The Upgrade Pity is available from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of the upgrade being successful by a percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus that some items have, but is more stable. It can be added to any weapons or armor, and is used three times.
You can also add additional components to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. They are displayed in a window above the + button. However, there are some limitations to this, and the highest amount of material that can be added is shown right above the + button in the user interface.
A Blacksmith Blessing, or an upgraded version of it can be used to boost the likelihood of a successful upgrade. This item is useful in the event that you have an item of equipment that has reached the highest level for its tier or is close to it. It allows you to upgrade that piece of equipment to the next level without worrying about it breaking.
If an upgrade is unsuccessful it will be returned to its original state. This is typically a break, but could also be an upgrade. It is recommended to save upgrades for when you're near the highest level of an item, and then use it as an emergency.
Kafra has a range of products that can be used in order to increase the chance of an upgrade being successful. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading your equipment repeatedly using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. The rate of success will be increased if you increase the chance of getting a Double Mint by Shoe-Minting five times.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows players to add an extra slot to their equipment. These slots can be used to apply an enchantment or upgrade an item. It is important to keep in mind that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item will determine the rate at which it can be upgraded and enhanced. The higher the rank of an item is, the more Zeny items will be required to upgrade it.
This system is costly particularly if you are looking for top-quality gear. Upgrades to weapons and armor can cost up to 100,000 z or 100 Carnium. As you rise in rank, your chances of success diminish. You can increase the chances of upgrading an item making use of cash shop items.
