World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also provide bonuses and enhancements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every
item upgrader kit recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have cosmetic effects, while others offer additional benefits. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. Most require the equipment to have an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain specifications. If a weapon piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, it can be upgraded with a different one but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found with the help of a Black-Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item upgrader mod (
reference) the item.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier the process can be repeated up to four times.
Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be used simultaneously, and the effects vary depending on the nature of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
It is generally advised to improve weapon damage first, then armour defense, and then the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other gear. This will increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, such as more damage or an enhancement to the appearance of. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. Most of the time, a piece of armor can be upgraded to the next level once an upgrade is applied. Most types of armor are upgradeable, however certain items (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island) cannot.
The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's strength or defense by only a tiny amount. However, some upgrade components can offer significant enhancements to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to enhancing the defense base of an item, certain upgrades also offer special abilities that can be activated while wearing an armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful like reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.

There are other ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces total weight.
Potion
By putting a potion in the brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another tier of potion effects, and is able to be repeated for more potencies.
The potions also get a custom color, which can be set by the player via /give. The color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color also affects the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions and awkward potions now have a distinct the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness are now available. Trinket
A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. It could also be a small banner that marks the yard of a boat. It can also be a gilded trinket that is connected to the mast of a boat.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more prevalent. This trinket, at present, makes all types Xx of mimics more common and gives each floor a Y% chance that it will contain an ebony replica. This trinket is priced at a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic from the enchanted scepter is believed to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to generate water and grass. At its current level this trinket can make X% of the floors filled with water or grass, but doesn't affect enchantments or the glyphs, cursed weapons, armor, or other items created to help solve hazard rooms.
This item, which looks like a newt's eyes appears to alter your vision in a way that goes beyond just decreasing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, increases the health gained by drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket that needs to be upgraded put it in the Anvil to upgrade it. This will affect the trinket that is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reforge a Trinket for as many times as you want, though it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you forged it.
You can
upgrade items your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by a small amount.
