Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor, or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
Survivors can obtain Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of an
item upgrades, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an
item level upgrade to a higher quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next successful result is repeated. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop offers to reroll, and those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the
item level upgrade. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank account. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item upgrader (

The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It's done by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the
item upgrades a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items, as well as a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can put in a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will initiate the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an
Best item upgrader will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide extra effects or an increased item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance to block.
