I am very skeptical about companies that offer to put my site our for link swapping to generate "popularity" for search engine SEO purposes. Personally, I feel it is a waste of money and could hurt you. If there are links being exchanged artificially with companies outside of your industry, search engines can punish you for it.

If a local business owner spent ten hours a week or so trying to stay on top of the local SEO news, Pinterest he or she might be able to stay on page one of organic listings and Google Places. But that would assume that they are spending even more time or money actually implementing the strategies they learn about.

Every website requires a site map even if it is big or small (contains 5 pages). The site map should be linked to from each page within your website as this helps the search engine to find all the pages within your website. It is best to link the site map at the footer of each page within your website.

Now you HAVE to use some sort of SEO strategy to truly make a difference. In order to become more relevant you have to learn about things like; article marketing, using proper SEO strategies in the background of your website, as well as several other areas. Without it, your website or blog will never get off the ground.

Do not copy the content from other sites. Use your own language and get unique content. Make it more refreshing and interesting to the visitors. This will help you to get more traffic and thus into Google Top 10.

How can you do this? Two very important SEO tips - use keyword research tools and develop a search engine strategy that will benefit you the most. Plenty of keyword research tools exist that can help with your keyword analysis, such as Wordtracker or Google AdWords. These can help you identify the keywords and key phrases that will give you the most success, lower search volumes for certain keywords could indicate that it is a more targeted phrase with greater potential to convert traffic once it arrives.

This means traditional SEO optimization will not matter as much. Ranking will eventually be dead. Things like traffic, analytics, bounce rates, and so on will count more. The more unique traffic your website have the better you will do. Spammy traffic from paid bulk traffic site will not be as well regarded as it has been in the past.
