The Summer Infant 3D Lite is a lightweight, feature-rich convenience stroller that folds up into a small package for easy transport and storage. It is one of the lightest strollers we tested, and it's also one of the best budget alternatives. It is not a good option for a
stroller newborn to use every day because it does not have a bassinet or car seat compatibility but it is ideal for travel.
It can be used to hold toddlers easily. The seat is placed flat to facilitate diaper changes or naps. The 5-point harness can be adjusted in three different height positions. The storage basket is big and there is an extra cup holder in the back for parents. The canopy has an open window with a fabric-covered peekaboo and a separate pocket that is zippered to store smaller items.
The stroller, similar to the UPPAbaby G-Luxe steers well on smooth surfaces, but can get stuck in cracks when we test it on rough terrain. The wheels are made of plastic and have a higher frequency of vibration than the average for our test group. It also has a smaller carry strap than the majority of our test strollers so it's more difficult to carry in the event of carrying a heavy bag or a sleeping baby.
